The large Claas tractor “Xerion 12” wins the “iF Design Award 2024”. Presented in 2023, their external appearance is mainly characterized by the Y-shaped hood design introduced in 2019 with the Lexion 5000 – 8000. The “Xerion 12” series includes two models, the 12.590 and 12.650, produced for the global market in Terra Trac variants and Trac at the CLAAS plant in Harsewinkel. The new large tractors have been designed taking into account four fundamental characteristics:
· Greater profitability thanks to low fuel consumption, low maintenance and wear costs and high resale value.
· Greater traction efficiency thanks to high torque, large contact areas, optimal 50:50 weight distribution in all operating conditions and powerful hydraulic power.
· Greater comfort thanks to the large four-point suspended cab with excellent all-round visibility, rubber-damped TERRA TRAC tracks and comfortable steering behavior.
· Greater assistance thanks to CEBIS, CMOTION, CEMOS and GPS PILOT CEMIS 1200.
